MAN AND HIS WISDOM FROM ANCIENT TIMES (PART 1)

Human Society Needs Better Stability which is possible by sharing knowledge

Even to this day ‘HUMAN SPECIES’ look to the HEAVENS and as a matter of fact has been doing this for EONS.

WATCHING THE SKY for astronomers and physicists all around the world has become a daily routine today. Discovering new planets, black holes and understanding microwave radiations spewed from the space above, several hundred and thousand LIGHT YEARS from the EARTH has become PROFESSIONAL WORK.

AS THE GROWING CHILD that is curious with everything around him or her, we as adults are equally baffled by the mysteries that surround us. It is quite likely that ancient men, several hundred thousand years ago, would have WALKED THE ENTIRE PLANET ON FOOT and no wonder we see African dwarf size aborigines in Australia, people of African origin on the Islands of Indian Oceans and also in both the America Continents.

IT WOULD NOT BE A SURPRISE if some people would have walked towards East trying to see or touch the GOLDEN COLORED SUN which rises from the EASTERN HORIZON.

So MAN who has been PATIENTLY and PAINSTAKINGLY watching the sky for so many thousand years and even to this day which LEADS us to the QUESTION WHY?

LET US THINK FOR A MOMENT- We all talk about 24 hours a day and one hour is 60 minutes etc. Will it not be interesting to investigate how these things have come into existence and perhaps man would have done lot of work for hundreds or perhaps thousands of years to understand this basic every day aspect of life which we take it for granted and we go about everyday as an ordinary ritual.

ONE OF THE PRIMARY PURPOSE, besides the excitement, for Man’s systematic understanding and analysis of Constellation of stars from ancient days was to TRACK the MOTION and the FREQUENCY of appearance of some spectacular cluster of stars.

The BRIGHTEST STAR the Blue Giant ‘RIGEL’ was the most prominent of ORION CONSTELLATION. Astronomers today with modern equipment have now calculated DISTANCE of the RIGEL STAR from EARTH as ‘772 LIGHT YEARS.’

ONE CAN IMAGINE the WISDOM of our ancient people who have understood and analyzed watching such distance stars like RIGEL and Planet JUPITER and several others. Imagine ‘1 LIGHT YEAR’ is equal to 9500 BILLION KM. For comparison sake our giant star SUN is only 0.15 billion Km away.

PLANET JUPITER visible to naked eye (couple of hours after sunset) is at a distance of 0.80 billion Km, more than 5 times the distance of Sun from Earth. As Jupiter is a giant size planet in our solar system, ancient astronomers and astrologers had the wisdom to assess, few thousand years ago, that Jupiter is the most benevolent planet in the solar system.

ONLY few years ago NASA after getting data from their spacecraft 'JUNO' informed us that the powerful Jupiter with its enormous gravitational force due to its huge mass(318 times Earth) has saved Earth. 

THE REASON being the massive gravitational force of Jupiter pulled in to its belly large asteroids and other debris and protected planet EARTH from severe damage. The above shows the vision and creative power of our ancient people
