IS WEST THE BEST ?

The definition of God for Buddhists is a bit complex because they acknowledge the fact that Buddha is not a God but a human being who woke up and could see the true way the world works. Buddha lived about 2,500 years.

However, 5,000 years ago the same thing was put across in a more simple format by Sri Krishna who conveyed it to Arjuna as ‘Bhagawad Gita.' It defines three methods - Karma yoga, Bhakti yoga, and Dhyana yoga such that it could be practised by any ordinary human being, depending upon his ability.  Following any one of the above three methods as a process for self-realization, one could attain the supreme or merge the Jiva-Atma(ordinary soul) with the Supreme Soul.

The ancient Spiritual masters call this process as the merging of self-consciousness with the universal consciousness, as they say, the true nature of spiritual human being as part of the supreme-being is to merge with the absolute. 

It is a well-accepted fact that almost all Hindus acknowledge that Buddha was a real incarnation of Sri Krishna. So we could say there is a cyclical pattern of 2,500 years and one could consider something special in another five hundred years but unfortunately, one cannot foresee the future and it is only a possibility or a theory of probability. 

Once upon a time in the past people watched with awe the appearance of Adi Sankara who was a great literate right from the childhood, about 1,000 years ago, who dramatically changed the situation by his arguments and outsmarted Buddhist ideology and theory of non-self (soul) thereby re-installed the Hindu dharma back in the Indian soil driving Buddhism to take shelter in other geographical areas in the Far East and South East Asia. It was Sankaracharya who was the chief architect to put back the ideology of Bhagwad Gita back on track on the Indian soil. 

Buddhists despite the fact that Buddha considered as an ordinary human, but never the less all Buddhists pray or chant in the name of Buddha and no one else, unlike Indians who worship 100’s of thousands of God entities. 

However, no wonder Krishna is considered the greatest of all the spiritual masters, the Guru of all gurus. Therefore, Krishna is worshipped as a Lord because he was not only the master of all gurus of our ancient civilization but also a great philosopher, Jnani and also a mystic. 

But yet he lived like an ordinary human as a cowherd boy, one of the most fabulous boyfriends for almost all the girls in Brindavan(in Mathura) and then to become a friend, philosopher and the great human being who lived on Earth to reveal the true nature of a living soul. The great Krishna showed the way a human being should live like a playboy, then love girls as a teenager, be brave and destroy evil forces that comes your way, be a committed friend and the best advisor of humankind meaning that all should contribute towards the upliftment of others and have true ideals and principles in life.

Unfortunately, modern generations of Hindus have doubts about Lord Krishna because he was raised like any other boy and had lived like any other ordinary child, was a playboy, a lover, a great friend, a great philosopher besides being called the King of Dwarka.

We need to admit that several centuries later he was a NOBLE PRIZE winner of ancient times to be ultimately called the Supreme of all beings. Because the story dates back more than 5,000 years before or perhaps even before ice-age and no one knows for sure as there is no valid documentation! Like the approval by the philosophers of the Trinity College, London!

So it is no wonder many people think Krishna as any other ordinary human and a smart boy or man or a perhaps at the max, King of Dwarka. So the whole world, especially the modern generation, mostly due to the influence of western science and education also think Sri Ramachandra or King Rama is nothing but mythology or a great epic story. Even Krishna another ordinary human being like any of us but then is worshipped like Lord Jesus and a noble soul Gautama Buddha, the two great personalities who lived on Earth more than 2,000 years ago. 

Thus it has been universally accepted that Siddhartha Gautama is a human being but worshipped by all Buddhists as none other than their God. Christians also consider Jesus Christ, a Son of God, but a Sheppard boy nevertheless.

Indians seem to be the most confused in all the tribes in human history because of the millions of Gods they worship except that ancient Indic philosopher defined ‘Trinity of Gods_- Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the preserver and Siva the destroyer. 

 

Therefore there is no wonder that the new generation modern humans of the twentieth and twenty-first century would like to treat Rama and Krishna managed as ordinary humans, or perhaps some people even think it is just a myth like Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva, the famous trilogy of Gods that seem to be acknowledged by all Hindus.

Because the modern human brain has now got programmed to behave like an automated computer machine run by programs of the contemporary western thinking making a logical thinking brain do what the current theory says!

The greatest mystery today that surrounds Krishna who is never the less accepted as a predecessor to Buddha which is predated some 2500 years before the latter's birth on Earth, is whether or not he called himself divine or it is the definition of people or the ancient philosophers. So ancient philosophers are not much different than modern thinkers or philosophers who have developed new thinking, or new ways and a scientific theory for everything including a grand opinion of humans just aping the monkeys!

It is high time that humans have to start using their natural thinking abilities to be able to understand that perhaps everything in the Universe is a story including so many theories but should not think just like a programmed computer driven either by Mac or Windows operating system all the time. I would say use it only as a tool during needs like we use water or toilet paper which we dispose of after use. 

The West believes in documenting everything so that there is a valid document for approval but man is corrupt, and any distortion of truth or theories is only creating confusion after confusion. So human beings seem to have just lost their ability to think naturally and have forgotten the old habit or simple technique of questioning everything! 

But all wise-humans know that almost all knowledge was taken away by corrupt methods of foreign invaders who plundered everything from pre-independent India.

NO VALID DOCUMENT AVAILABLE SO ALL THEORIES OF ANCIENT INDIA IS CONSIDERED MYTHOLOGY AND NOTHING BUT STUPID IMAGINATION OR FICTITIOUS.

As there is there is no valid written document available 5000 years before except the old Vedic scripts which only very few in the world understand today.

However, Buddha's existence being only as recent as 2500 years ago there is valid documents available which state that Buddha said through self-realization or awakening one could attain the Divine! 

To sum it up in the case Buddha there is an availability of validated statement which perhaps is not the case with Krishna who lived 5,000 years ago. As westerners still consider Rama a mythological story, though Krishna existence seems to have been proven now due to the discovery of the lost city of ancient Dwarka under the sea, near Gulf of Cambay, Gujarat. 

Thanks to people like Chaitanya, an ardent singer devotee of Lord Krishna and Srila Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON who has once again established the existence of Lord Krishna by the simplest of all the religious texts the great ‘Bhagawad Gita’ which is like the ‘Bible to Hindus.'

However, with modern Indians, more bent towards the westernized way of thinking and imbibing their culture is nonetheless aping the west (proving or is acting like apes perhaps due to programming). It could be due to the mirror neuron effect of the western human civilization that Rama and Krishna is a just a mythology. 

Therefore, neuroscience will have to contemplate now conducting research and find out whether they should call this phenomena ‘universal hypnotism of the west'. 

Which we all Indians know that ancient India had invented a couple of thousand years before called as ‘Snake charmers’ of the East, who will keep a venomous cobra dancing, but ironically, the fact is that the reptile has only the smallest rudimentary (primary) brain!.  

But modern humans do have the secondary brain, and therefore it is not necessary that we need to go through hypnosis and get mesmerized with everything that is being broadcasted from the west. Perhaps it appears humans brain is getting more and more programmed towards the west but human species should not forget that there is something called the fundamental intelligence and self-building process like a refresher course to consider and decide whether 'what west thinks is the best for humans.' 

One should remember the removal of darkness(ignorance) started from this side as Sun rises from the East!
