The Difference Between ACT of LOVE & HAPPINESS and the STATE OF BLISS

One would 'love' looking at nature, be it mountaintop or the waves that are generated by the ocean. These sights always give us great pleasure looking at these because these are beautiful creations that mother earth or nature has given us.

'Love' has been always associated with the ‘heart’ and therefore the heart-shaped objects have always offered attraction!

However the word ‘LOVE’  carries multiple meanings in several relationships but the common bottom line is basically ‘Care’ and ‘Concern’. The major question which comes up pertaining to care and concern is about what?

'LOVE' is also a person's liking or affinity towards and for something, someone or some objects; because an or a person creates an interest in our mind and therefore this creates attraction or care or concern. However, if there is something that is of no interest to a person, one individual cares about that!

If one considers the simplest form of ‘love’- which is basically an affinity or act or action- a person often says he or she loves to do a particular job or loves a particular thing which of obviously comes off the ‘heart’; but then this act could be considered materialistic because he or she gets something in return which could simply be an ‘enjoyment’ or there could be some monetary or certain other benefit involved in the act.

Therefore this 'love' affair is called 'passion' or 'addiction' and gives the person joy or enjoyment.

Therefore one could say that a person is concerned to act or ensures that she or he acts in a particular manner because he or she has a benefit that gets accrued out of this action.

For instance, the simplest form of action like the act of smelling a flower is because you enjoy the aromatic aspect of the flower or even looking at a flower means you are looking at the color which gives a feeling of beauty or simply getting yourself pleasure out of seeing the colorfulness of the flower(s)!

If you look at an 'innocent child' one is looking at the smiling beauty or the serene look of the child. Similarly, an innocent act of a boy or a girl gives the feeling of attraction or astonishment for most of us!

Therefore generally one’s ‘love’ can be considered as having two sides one is ‘giving’ and the other is expecting or getting something in return! This means we are talking about ‘love’ which is always conditional!
Therefore we are all talking about 'love' which always is seen as ‘give and take’.
One would generally consider mother's love as 'unconditional' and that she provides love unconditionally! However, we see so much conflict that takes place, after the child grows up and gets married, between the mother and the other women who is new to the scene! Almost all the mothers are possessive of their child and usual feeling of ownership! Thus expectations run high that their child/children would take care of them when parents become old and therefore there is a basis of expectation which may not be immediate but in the longer run.
Therefore one could say that only ‘unconditional love’ as ‘genuine love’ which has no expectations that which has the giving side and is only a one-sided affair but of course very rare!
A simple example would be a person showing the act of ‘compassion’ towards old people or destitute children or women and such saintly people seem to love to serve the needs of such category of people and the person serving them  do not expect anything in return and they are a very few or selected people like ‘Mother Theresa’ or like Florence Nightingale or the Father of the Indian Nation – Mahatma Gandhi!

These great souls did not get either joy or pleasure but they were passionate about what they are doing because they were in a state of 'bliss' which is beyond joy or happiness!
Whatever said and done mothers by nature are lovable creatures because it is universally accepted as their genetic makeup but being a Father’s day the greatest tribute should go to none other than the Greatest of all mankind in the recent time - ‘Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi’ also known as "Mahatma Gandhi".
